In plain words: what this service collects, where it sends it, how long it keeps it and how it deletes it.

About AI
- Your chat partner is an AI character, not a person.
- Character images are AI-generated pictures, not real people.
- Corrections, explanations, word meanings and quizzes are made by AI too and can be wrong. Please double-check important expressions elsewhere.
- Please don't put sensitive personal details in the chat, such as your real name, contact details, address, or health or financial information.
What we collect
- Account — email, display name, sign-in method, age check result (adult or not), language and level settings
- Conversations and learning — the messages you send, the character's replies, corrections and explanations, conversation summaries and memory, vocabulary, quizzes, affinity
- Payments — plan, amounts and dates, credit history. Card numbers go to the payment company; we don't store them
- Technical — IP address (abuse prevention), a device value used to limit free trials, error logs

To run the service we have the companies below process information for us. Information sent to companies abroad is a transfer abroad.

During the beta, replies may be generated through the same companies' AI tools (Anthropic, OpenAI) on the operator's accounts. The information sent is the same as above.
How long we keep it
- Account, conversations and learning records — until you delete them or your account
- Deleting a conversation deletes its messages, corrections, learning records and memory (words in your vocabulary stay)
- AI call records (token counts, cost, latency — no message text) — reduced to daily totals after 180 days, and unlinked from you when you delete your account
- Short-term storage that answers repeated questions faster — not linked to your account, gone within 30 days
- Payment records — kept for the period required by accounting and tax law
- Database backups — deleted automatically after at most 21 days
What you can do
- See and download — in Settings, download all your data (JSON) or your vocabulary and corrections (CSV)
- Correct — change your name, languages and level in Settings. Fix or delete a conversation's memory in “Memory & settings”
- Delete a conversation — the ⋯ menu in the conversation list
- Delete your account — request it in Settings: deleted from the database after 7 days and from backups within 30 days at the latest. Track it with your receipt number
